Terms and Conditions of your booking…
1. About Us
Capital Chauffeur Services Dublin Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides professional chauffeur-driven transport services throughout Ireland, including airport transfers, private tours, corporate travel, and hourly hire.
By making a booking with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, which form a legally binding contract between you and the Company.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under Irish consumer protection law.
2. Bookings & Confirmation
2.1. Bookings may be made online, by email, or by telephone.
2.2. A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us, including service details and pricing.
2.3. All bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability.
3. Prices & Payment
3.1. All prices are quoted in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable.
3.2. Full payment or a deposit (if agreed) must be received before the service date.
3.3. Additional charges may apply for:
Extra waiting time
Additional stops or route changes
Extended hire beyond the agreed time
Any additional charges will be communicated clearly.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
We aim to apply cancellation terms fairly and transparently.
4.1 Client Cancellations
Unless otherwise agreed at booking:
Airport transfers & point-to-point services:
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time - less deposit if paidDay Tours & full-day hire:
Free cancellation up to 30 days before the service start time, less deposit if applicable.
Cancellations made after these times may not be eligible for a refund.
4.2 Company Cancellations
If we must cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
5. Amendments
5.1. Requests to amend bookings must be made in writing.
5.2. Amendments are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
6. Dublin Airport Pick-Ups & Flight Delays
6.1. For airport arrivals, we monitor flight arrival times using publicly available flight information.
6.2. A reasonable waiting period is included for delayed flights, provided the flight number was supplied at booking. (1 H )
6.3. Extended delays may result in additional waiting charges or require rescheduling. ( Hourly charges apply after first 1H)
6.4. If a flight is diverted, cancelled, or significantly delayed beyond reasonable limits, we will work with you to provide an alternative solution where possible, This may include rescheduling.
7. Waiting Time & No-Shows
7.1. Standard waiting time includes:
Airport pickups: up to 60 minutes after landing
Other locations: up to 15 minutes, as confirmed at booking
7.2. Additional waiting time will be charged at our standard hourly rate.
7.3. Failure to attend the agreed pickup location without notice may be treated as a no-show, and no refund will apply.
8. Service Performance & Delays
8.1. We will provide our services with reasonable skill and care.
8.2. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Traffic congestion or accidents
Road closures or diversions
Adverse weather conditions
Acts of God or force majeure
Delays caused by the client or third parties
8.3. In such cases, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses such as missed appointments, connections, or ticket forfeitures.
9. Vehicle Use & Passenger Conduct
9.1. All vehicles are licensed, insured, and maintained in accordance with Irish law.
9.2. Smoking, vaping, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited in our vehicles.
9.3. We reserve the right to terminate a journey without refund where passenger behavior is unsafe, abusive, or unlawful, soilage charges apply (200 euro).
10. Luggage & Personal Property
10.1. Clients are responsible for their luggage and personal belongings at all times.
10.2. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal items.
11. Insurance
11.1. Our vehicles are insured in compliance with Irish transport regulations.
11.2. Personal belongings are not covered under vehicle insurance.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
12.2. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter where exclusion would be unlawful.
13. Data Protection
13.1. We process personal data in accordance with GDPR and Irish data protection law.
13.2. Your information is used solely for booking, service delivery, and customer communication.

14. Complaints
14.1. Complaints should be submitted in writing as soon as reasonably possible.
14.2. We aim to resolve all complaints promptly and fairly.
15. Governing Law
15.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by Irish law.
15.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
✅ Consumer Notice
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Irish consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
16. Extended Tours Cancellation Policy
This section applies to extended multi-day tours or extended chauffeur services where services cover more than one day (e.g., multi-day tours, overnight services, or long-distance itineraries).
16.1 Cancellations by the Client
Cancellation must be notified in writing (email is acceptable) by the person who made the booking.
Depending on how far in advance written cancellation is received prior to the start date of the extended tour, the following cancellation charges apply:

Less than 30 days or after tour commencement 100% of total tour cost
For the purposes of this policy, the “total tour cost” includes all prepaid charges for the extended tour but excludes optional extras that are separately itemized. We strongly recommend that clients take out travel and cancellation insurance to cover irrecoverable costs.
16.2 Cancellations by the Company
We reserve the right to cancel an extended tour in the following circumstances:
Unforeseen events beyond our control (e.g., force majeure),
Insufficient bookings to operate the tour,
Operational issues such as unavailable accommodation or transport.
In such cases, you will be offered the choice of:
(a) a full refund of all amounts paid to us for the extended tour, or
(b) transferring your booking to an alternative tour or service (if available).
We are not liable for additional costs you may incur (e.g., flights, accommodation or other travel costs) arising from such cancellations, but will endeavour to assist where reasonably possible.
16.3 Changes by the Client
Requests to change a confirmed extended tour (e.g., advance or delay the start date) must be made in writing. Changes are subject to availability and may incur an administration fee.
16.4 Extended Tour No-Shows
If you fail to join an extended tour at the agreed departure point and time without prior written notice, this will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be due.
